Greetings to all of our friends, family, and supporters!

Canvas painting for Shepherd of the Hills Auction

January and February flew by here at Ray of Hope and we have some pretty exciting news. Since we opened our center back in July, one question has been on our hearts. "Can we really make a difference in the lives of these street kids?". Well, we're halfway through the school year and we are starting to see the answer.

We received first semester report cards from the school we send the street kids to, and the results have us amazed. In their class of twenty, our five students ranked in at numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, and 13! We also had two of our students chosen to participate in the schools reading competition. We are so incredibly proud of our students for all the hard work the have put in both at school and at our center.

Students Dinoy and Saveree were both given participation awards for their oral reading in the schools reading competition. This was a first experience for both of them and we were proud they tried their best!
